  1. Wonderful. I know that ferry question well – we live on an island and the ferry trip is a big part of any journey. Have a great time . xx

We’re always holding our breaths until the last moment – hoping we’ll catch the next ferry…not the one leaving three hours later. The kiddos would LOVE to live on an island – well so would I for that matter. 🙂

Lovely photos Rachel! Did the sea bands help? We are taking a ferry next month to Block Island for a big family vacation. Hope you are having tons of fun.

We used the sea bands and didn’t have any problems. Liam said his tummy was hurting at one point but I got him to inhale some peppermint oil and munch on candied ginger (which I remembered to pack – thank you). He felt better after that. A vacation that involves a ferry is so much more exciting!

What beautiful pictures, just look at that sky!
We did the “light” version a while back, driving from England to Germany with a baby (just one!), and somehow things just work out. I’m so glad they did for you all too. The kids are definitely having fun on the ferry! Love those little carrot faces too.. 🙂

Wow! I don’t know how you do with all those little kids! They are not very spread out in age! You rock! Oh, and ABBA? My girls favorite soundtrack is Mama Mia. Don’t even talk to me about it. ; )

Love the funny picture of all your kids laughing (in a pile). So sweet! Did you do the 15 hour trip in one shot? When we travel back (the opposite coast), it takes us 10 1/2 – 12 hours. We try to do that in 1 day. Not too bad since my kids are older.
