Wow! I wish the post wasn’t expensive, cause I’d take those pickles! Love the curls – miss those. I am so impressed by the fast. Want to do it sometime, but the timing wasn’t right this go round. Definitely planning to sign up for the other adventure…very cool. Thanks for catching up!! Have a great weekend!

You are right….best fruit fly trap ever!! I can hardly believe you have 29 jars of pickles….i have never done them oddly enough…

Your first paragraph – I feel as if I could’ve written it myself. Summertime is not long enough for me but I can sense the need for more daily structure from the little ones.

Those curls are irresistible! And a rabbit is high on our pet wish list too. I am often told what animals we must have once we are settled again. Yum! on the jam. I still have a lot to work through at home. And Pomona’s is amazing. I love using it instead of the traditional stuff. My first sweater was a Shalom out of the same yarn. It is my favorite sweater. You will love it.

Hurrah for a fruit fly trap that works!! Although it was entertaining to watch you batting them fiendishly!!

Oh so many happening my friend. I’m glad you are happy and having fun. I’m anxious to see your shalom! I’ve had the pattern on my to do list for quite some time but have yet to make it. As for pomona’s, isn’t it great stuff! Makes jam a whole new experience. And speaking of your jam, Our house plowed through what you sent in record time! I haven’t made nearly as much this year as last year and I’m a bit sad about that, time has just flown by. I do have a huge pile of green beans that will become dilly beans tomorrow afternoon (yay for dilly beans). I’m with you on not wanting summer to end and yet looking forward to a bit more rhythm.

oh those curls!!! And i’m so happy that you get to experience the joy of outdoor canning, one of my favorite ways to can. I have a side burner on our bbq that I use, but i’m tempted to get another individual burner so that I can do more at once.
I want to hear how your shalom goes, I want to make that but i’m a little bit chicken about the whole thing.

  9. hi rachel, i haven’t commented in a while but thought i’d do so tonight…
29 1ltr jars of pickles?? awesome!!!
and i can’t wait to see your growing shalom! i made one in cascade eco a while back and even though i find the yarn quite scratchy, it’s still one of my favourite cardigans!
