    Good morning!
My little riser (2 1/2) likes your knitting so far! He pointed to it and said, “Oh, yeah!” – as in I really like that!
    Have a great week!

isn’t that the way it seems to go… all the big ideas and then life happens. lol still, a little knitting here, a little knitting there and eventually it is all done. 🙂

These lists of projects are so familiar to me . When you think you can do everything, but in reality it goes the other way. On the other hand, it is even for the better, because you come up with something different and unique.
And I like how the reading depends on the season in your family.

The yarn is gorgeous, it looks soft and squishy and warm! Who could resist knitting with it?

Rachel, I’m so happy you kept on with your Rae, the yarn is beautiful. I am finding myself drawn to browns this season so this looks awesome.
I find myself browsing patterns and creating a long list of things to do,but realistically will never get to in this lifetime. There is so much out there isn’t there?

i’ve had to put myself in a 10 step program to ween me away from Pinterest! What an enabler….I want to start a gazillion things. But I love your Rae–good choice–and beautiful yarn.

I know how tricky it can be, gift knitting. I made this cowl for my sister, and afterwards decided she probably wouldn’t wear it after all. So now it is sitting there waiting for the right recipient while I cast on for something else. My list has been subject to some serious tidying up though, so not much left to do… I think…

Oh yes, there’s a lot of ‘talking’ going on over here as well. Not sure if my knitting plans will come to fruition or not. Haven’t even made cookies!

I find that life ebbs and flows so much. During some periods of life we can accomplish so much while others tend to move to other pursuits. Right now you have a wee one to care for as well as older ones. They take so much time that knitting can wait. It will still be there to offer a bit of comfort. It is only recently that my knitting output has increased. If you saw my bathrooms(yuck!) you would know why.

I could have written this post myself. Thank goodness George has three days off next week so he can occupy the children while I scramble to finish everything… xo

I love Pinterest a little too much, too. If you want, you can find me on there as wifemomknitter. 😉

Christmas this year is going to be really hard for my whole family, so I’m just hoping to get through it at this point.

looks like lovely yarn! and I love the Christmas lights in the background!!

At least you joined the yarn along! I didn’t even have the courage to join up today because I am still working on the same sweater for Lena. BUT….I sure am basking in this new babyness of hers and I’m sure you’re doing the same with you wee one. Knitting can wait, I say!

  14. The balance of the list… ahhhh… yes… I can’t seem to manage it, and therefore rarely knit as gifts anymore. I am so glad you joined in though!

  15. angie says:

Oh we are alike my friend! We need a crafting day together!

  16. Oh, I’m that way too. There are so many handmade projects that I would like to do, but fear that they would be rejected.

The yarn looks oh so cozy

  17. Stacy says:
