Oh no! I’m sorry you lost all that lovely salsa. 🙁

I was just thinking the other day that you hadn’t done one of these in a while… I must have jinxed you! xo

What a sad loss after all that labour. On a lighter side, perhaps you can create a new saying “No use crying over scorched salsa!”

oh the heart ache!! This happened to me last year with apple butter. I’m still miffed.

Oh mama, my heart aches for you! What a bummer. I haven’t even made any this year…slacker that I am…

  5. Melissa says:

Oh dear! I’m so sorry! That totally sucks!

  6. aww…hugs! This happens to me regulary, Rachel! Not with Salsa…but with marmalade, jam, pickles…hey, I kill dinner periodically simply because….

  7. Tracey says:

Oh you poor dears, that is so disappointing! I lost several batches of fermented salsa this year and cried too.

  8. Island Jays says:

That’s just cruel – all that loving work and produce gone. Is there room in your heart to start another batch (that is if there are even tomatoes to be found!)?

  9. Ooh that’s sad! I’ll use this story to vindicate my decision not to process salsa this season… this story and the fact that I barely had enough tomatoes produced to slice on our occasional hamburgers.

    Blessings, Debbie

Oh I’m so sorry! On the other hand those bitter mistakes make us wiser and stronger. Everything will be fine, I’m sure.
