Uh, very nice pullover! I really like the color combo with jeans! It looks very classic so I think your daughter might still like it when she’s older.

  6. I am so happy. Brilliant sweater. Perfect. Maybe my favorite ver. For reals.

It looks wonderful Rachel! And I love that last picture of Elizabeth and her sweet smile. I’m guessing someone begrudgingly had their hair brushed for the occasion?

  8. Just beautiful. I’m sure Elizabeth will get a lot of wear out of her sweater. Jacinta

I think it is a lovely sweater and a perfect fit! Long sleeves are nice and when it is cold outside they will fit over the mitts-perfect! Blocking is a knitter’s best friend, isn’t it?

Did she like modeling the new sweater too? Looks like she enjoyed herself. It’s so nice to make something with such care and have it be well-received. Makes such a difference & keeps you wanting to knit more…

  11. Great job and it looks wonderful on Elizabeth!

Such a beautiful cardigan, well done. I didn’t realize before how big your daughter is; knitting that sort of size is going to stretch my patience one day!
She certainly looks very happy with her gift; I love that last picture!

That turned out so well and it looks so great on your lovely model!

I’m also thinking I should enjoy knitting for my kids now, while they’re small, because I think when they are big it’s going to take a lot longer to finish anything… xo

Wow! That’s my kind of sweater. I’d like to make one exactly like it in my size. It looks great on Elizabeth, not too big at all but she has growing room. Those are the exact colors I would have chosen, and I love the buttons you used. Really beautiful!

  15. Dad says:

Absolutely beautiful!!! (… the sweater is pretty nice as well!)
