I have the Puerperium Cardigan on my knit list for the next little niece or nephew to come along. How sweet in the white! I love white on a newborn, even if it isn’t so practical…

  3. I can’t wait to see a photo of the birthday girl in the sweater I love so much. Nice job — it’s looking so beautiful! Happy celebrating.

I love that Puerperium Sweater…it’ll definitely be one more thing to add to my ever-growing list of baby knits. I also love that you’ve chosen fisherman’s wool in a neutral color. I love babies in white and cream. And in bright colors too. Sounds like you are thoroughly enjoying your vacation.

  14. Rachel, that book speaks to my soul too- and although I have always believed in the way we do things as a family, sometimes it’s nice to get validation!

Rachel–I have this book and have been waiting to read it–you really just struck a chord with me. Now that my kiddos are out of school for the summer, the pressure is really on to enroll, enroll, enroll. I have been feeling guilted into it but now I am thinking twice…
