Love those little pieces of art. But oh so hard to clean at times. I always had one who would practice his name everywhere, but insist he was not the culprit đŸ™‚

Have you tried using those little white sponge like cleaning bars – Mr Clean Magic Erasers – for the drawings on the wall? It works well without taking paint from the wall. Not sure how what’s in it – I’m thinking partly baking soda? As for grout – can’t help you there – I have grout that definitely needs cleaning. For our kitchen tile, my husband pulls out a toothbrush and soap & water!

Haha, I love the little doodles. I’m glad you took pictures of them before you cleaned up!
I’ve found that borax and washing soda (50/50) make an awesome cleaner for pencil on walls. (and many other surfaces!)

Love it. My eldest has completely decorated on of his walls with paint and sharpies. He’s 10 but has autism so he gets a bit overwhelmed by his impulses. But he truly loves art so we let him enjoy-no harm done. My eldest daughter once plaster pantiliners on her wall in the shape of a person. The adhesive is still there. Hmm grout-now that’s a toughie. I have tried hydrogen peroxide and a toothbrush and that helped a lot. Good luck!

I’ve seen that other people have told you about the Magic Erasers from Mister Clean. That should get the grout clean. As far as the artist goes – I had this same problem several years ago (he’s 16 now)I started by leaving a stack of paper and crayons on the coffee table and every time he headed for the wall, I’d redirect. Once he figured out that I loved his drawings ON PAPER he was quite prolific.

Aw, such sweet artwork, although yes, the canvas… I hope you got everything cleaned again, but good you have taken pictures!
